  1. How do I open a live trading account?

Four steps: register with an email and password, verify your identity, fund the account, and trade on MT5 or WebTrader. Verification documents are reviewed by a person, and funding settles the same banking day where your bank's cut-off times allow. Live access starts once verification is approved.

  2. What is the minimum deposit?

Standard opens from 199, Pro from 10,000 and Crest from 100,000, all in your account currency. The published Crest ladder runs to 1,250,000 at Crest Meridian. Crest Private is invitation-only with no published minimum. Each minimum is a working-balance floor, not a fee. The full amount is yours to trade.

  3. What documents do I need to verify my account?

A valid government-issued photographic identity document, such as a passport, plus proof of your residential address. Identity is verified before an account can be funded or traded, using trained human review together with electronic verification. The full requirements are set out in the AML & KYC Policy on the legal pages.

  4. How do I fund my account?

By card, bank transfer, or e-wallet. Deposits settle the same banking day where the funding method permits, subject to your bank's cut-off times and standard regulatory checks. We do not charge deposit fees; your payment provider might, and we list everything we control before you commit.

  5. How do I withdraw money?

Submit the request from your account and it goes to the same desk that answers support. We do not charge withdrawal fees, and requests are released within one banking day, subject to verification checks and your payment method's own settlement window. Where required, funds route back through the original funding method; the full terms are in your client agreement.

  6. What leverage can I trade with?

Retail leverage is capped at 1:30 on major FX pairs under European-style rules, and the exact cap depends on your contracted entity and the instrument class. Clients who qualify for professional categorisation may access higher caps depending on tier and entity. CFDs are leveraged products, and a majority of retail accounts lose money trading them.

  7. What happens if my margin runs low?

Under retail rules the stop-out triggers near a 50% margin level: positions are closed to stop losses consuming the whole account. In fast or gapping markets, losses may still exceed the margin allocated to a position. The Risk Disclosure on the legal pages explains margin calls and stop-outs in full. Read it before you fund an account.

  8. Do I have negative balance protection?

Retail CFD accounts carry negative balance protection where the contracting entity's rules require it, which limits your loss to the funds in your account. Whether it applies depends on your contracting entity and client classification, as stated in your client agreement. It does not prevent the loss of deposited funds, and professional clients may not receive the same protection.

  9. How do spreads and commissions work?

Standard accounts price all-in through the spread with no commission, from 0.9 pips on EURUSD with a 12-month typical of 1.2. Pro accounts run raw spreads from 0.0 pips with a published commission per lot. Every tier publishes its spread, commission, and leverage in full on the account types page.

  10. What fees do you charge, and where is the fee schedule?

We do not charge deposit, withdrawal, inactivity, or account-opening fees. Trading costs come from the spread, commission on raw-spread accounts, and overnight swap where applicable, all published. The full fee schedule and tier comparison live on the account types page, where a cost calculator models your monthly cost from your own volume.

  11. Do you offer swap-free (Islamic) accounts?

Swap-free is available on Standard, Pro, and Crest accounts where the contracted entity permits it. The option is enabled at account opening and reviewed periodically. Some instruments and holding durations may be excluded under each entity's rules.

  12. Which trading platforms do you support?

Every tier includes MetaTrader 5 and WebTrader access. The Standard account trades on the same MT5 and WebTrader venue as every other tier, so what you see at the minimum is what you get at size.

  13. Is there a demo account?

No. North Stone does not run a play-money demo. The way to try the platform is a Standard account funded from the minimum: live pricing on the same MT5 and WebTrader venue as every tier, real money at small size, and a balance you can withdraw whenever you like. Use it to test order tickets, watchlists, and market tools before adding anything.

  14. Why aren't the prices on your market pages live?

Prices on our market pages refresh hourly, built as a blended median across named public venues, with the method published. They are there for cost comparison, not for dealing: what you pay depends on your account type and market conditions. The price you can trade is the one on your platform ticket.

  15. Who is behind North Stone Capital, and who regulates it?

North Stone Capital is a trading name of LL CAPITAL & PARTNERS LIMITED, a Malta-based company (Company No. C 46015) regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority. The entity name appears in the footer, the legal pages, and the verification panel on the contact page. Match it on every document we send you.

  16. How can I verify your licence myself?

The contact page identifies the legal entity, Authorised Person ID LLCP, registered office and complaints route. Search the MFSA public register by the legal name or LLCP. C 46015 is the MBR company registration code, not a licence number.

  17. Who holds my money?

Client money is held in segregated client accounts, separate from the company's operating funds, under the applicable client-money rules. The entity named in the verification checks is accountable for those funds. Segregation protects custody, not market outcomes. Trading risk stays yours.

  18. How do I make a complaint?

Contact support@northstonecapital.net first; many issues are resolved at that stage. If your concern is not resolved to your satisfaction, submit a formal complaint to compliance@northstonecapital.net with your name, account identifier, relevant dates, transaction references, and the outcome you are seeking. If you remain dissatisfied after our final response, you may have external escalation rights depending on your client categorisation, country of residence, and applicable law.

  19. What happens to my personal data?

We collect identity and contact data when you register, verify, fund, trade, or contact support, and process it only where we have a legal basis to do so. The Privacy Policy on the legal pages explains what we keep, for how long, and the rights you have over it. Questions and requests go to privacy@northstonecapital.net, monitored by the team responsible for data protection.

  20. Do you offer trading education?

Yes. The education hub carries 44 surveyed articles with four measured learning routes drawn through them, including the hazard most brokers leave unmarked: why most traders lose. Everything is free to read, with nothing locked behind a sign-up wall.

  21. Where can I look up trading terms?

The glossary defines 66 trading terms in plain language across all four site languages: spreads, leverage, margin, pips, and more. Every term you don't understand is a place a broker can hide a cost, so nothing sits behind a sign-up wall.

  22. Do you have trading calculators?

The calculation desk works one trade through four lenses (position size, risk, margin, and profit and loss) using live mid-rates, with every derivation visible. The calculators are free and ungated. Treat the figures as a guide: your actual fills can differ.

  23. How do I reach support?

Use the contact console, email support@northstonecapital.net, or live chat while a trading session is open. A person, not a bot, replies within one trading session of your timestamp, usually much faster. You can write in English, Arabic, Spanish, or Chinese.

  24. How do I apply as an introducing broker or partner?

Introducing brokers, affiliates, and institutional partners use the same contact console: choose the Partnerships & IB subject and your message routes to the partnerships queue. Commercial terms are agreed when your application is approved and set out in your partnership agreement.

If the reference fails.

Not every question fits a card. Three routes below; each one ends with a person and a reference you can chase.
